Workshop with Alex David, Heidelberg.
The American screen writer will give a glimpse into the work and art of screen writing! How do you create a concept for a TV series? How do you develop the characters? How are the single episodes structured? The aim of the workshop is to provide the participants with a thorough introduction to writing for a TV show. Participants will also work on their own material. Alex David received his M.A. in Fine Arts at the renowned American Film Institute in Los Angeles. He has worked for major Hollywood directors and producers ever since, e.g. Ridley Scott (Gladiator), director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain) and Nicole Holfcener (Sex and the City). He teaches film and TV at the University of Heidelberg and Mannheim.
Please sign up for the workshop until Fr. February, 17 by contacting the secretary’s office by phone 07071/795 26-0 or by e-mail: mail [at] dai-tuebingen.de
